Joshua Funder’s sentiments reflect somewhat the underlying
concept of the Four-Hour Work Day.
The chairman of the Per Capita think tank wrote in today’s
Age (June 13) that asking people to sacrifice a good life by working longer and
harder for the sake of economic growth is morally unacceptable.
The story, headed: “Too high a price for economic growth”,
ended with the observation that, “Quick fixes for economic growth are not the
answer”.
